Sleek Makeup Haul + Swatches;

Hey ladies! I recently placed an order for some Sleek. Sleek is a UK based brand, however you are able to order online. Shipping is $10[boo!], so if I were you, I`d get my money's worth. I ordered 3 palettes[1 for a giveaway :D] & a blush. I believe it took almost 2 weeks to receive my order. The website says orders ship same day or the next if ordered by 12GMT, but mines took a few days. Maybe due to the fact I ordered a palette that had just been released.I personally just hate waiting for packages, I get all antsy &want my package immediately. Lol. So onto my haul!

Overall I am VERY happy with my order. I am actually purchasing a few lipsticks soon. I may order more palettes in the future. The blush I`m not too crazy about yet, I`ll need to try it a few more times to see. I have been wanting the Sunset palette for the LONGEST time! &Of course I knew the Nude Palette had to be mines. & One of my lucky followers will have the chance to win a Sleek Nude Palette in a future post, as well as some other goodies. :D

Jordana Cosmetics Haul;

Hey guys! Today I have yet another haul.

Today I am featuring Jordana Makeup.

I remember this brand from when I was much younger.

After seeing Rai`s post on Jordana Makeup, I knew I had to find some!

I picked up a few blushes & lipsticks at my local KMart.

The blushes;

The lipsticks.[The purple tubes are matte.]

Redwood blush has become my new favorite. I have been using it almost everyday since I purchased about 2 weeks ago. I thought Merlot would be a great shade for Autumn & Hollywood Red looked like the perfect red. I will say that Lily Rose is a bit TOO light, reminds me of something maybe Nicki Minaj would wear. Blushing Rose is a gorgeous color for Autumn as well & I think it looks great on WOC. I have yet to try Touch Of Pink, so I can`t report on this blush yet.

NOTW; Gray`s Anatomy + Initial Thoughts

Hey ladies.

Recently I made a trip to Walgreens &noticed all the WnW polishes were on sale.

I saw Gray`s Anatomy & thought it would be a gorgeous color, so I decided to purchase it.

I decided to show off my NOTW & post my initial thoughts.

Here is the polish.

It is a duo-chrome, purple & grey-green nail polish.

Swatched with 3 coats.

Initial Thoughts;

Sadly I was disappointed by this color. I did not realize it would be so sheer. [I guess that`s what I get for not looking a swatches.] I really like the colors & obviously I`m not complaining about the price[on sale for $.99, normally $1.99]. Also, maybe I just got a bad polish, but this was not fast drying for me. I have another polish from the same line & it dries pretty quickly. I may try this over a black or white nail polish to see what effect that will have on the polish.

Thoughts?

How I Preserve My Twistouts;

Hey guys!

So I just made a quick video showing how I preserve my twistouts.

I don`t use any product on my hair since it is already moisturized.

Using this method I can maintain this style for about 3-5 days.

Top 5 Favorite Nude Lippies;

Hey y`all!

Today I decided to share my current favorite nude lipsticks/glosses.

I chose 2 high end lipsticks & 3 drug store brand lippies.

L to R:

ELF Lipstick in Fantasy[$1.00]

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Mink[$4.50]

MAC Taupe Matte [$14.50]

MAC Freckletone Lustre [$14.50]

ELF Glossy Gloss in Muted Mauve[$3.00]

Swatches:

First of all, I think all of these lippies are WOC friendly. Mink is my new all time favorite lipstick. It's almost exactly the same color as my lips, however has a small hint of color. Fantasy is perfect. I can barely tell I have anything on when I am wearing this. Plus it is SUPER affordable[hello, only $1!!!]. Net up is Taupe. This was my first MAC lipstick. I knew it had to be mines after I swatched it. This is a pinky-brown shade. IMO, this shade is very pretty for WOC. Freckletone is my latest MAC lipstick. I would say this is a peachy-nude. This can be a bit TOO light & give off a Tyrone Biggums feel. So, for this lippie, I have to line my lips with a dark lipliner to make this work for me. Still I think it's a gorgeous color. Lastly, Muted Mauve by ELF. I have been waiting for this baby FOREVER. This was my missing gloss that got lost twice in transit to me. But I`m glad I waited for this one, this is the perfect nude gloss for me. I love that this gloss can last hours without touching it up.

Here's my FOTD from 9/10.

Since Autumn is approaching, I decided to do a cut crease with a bold plumy lip.

FOTD; Tequila Sunrise feat. I.C.E Cosmetics

Today I was inspired by one of my FAVORITE Youtubers, MissJBM22, for this FOTD.

I remembered a tutorial she had called Tequila Sunrise that I had been wanting to try out.

I did my own spin to this look & used orange in the crease & red on the lid instead of the other way around.

E.L.F. Haul; Yes, Another.

So, after my last haul post, ELF decided to have 50% off the Studio Line. Of course I had to take advantage of that. I`d much rather pay $1.50 than $3 any day! :P Luckily, everything I ordered was in stock this time! Yay!

I did pick up some $1 items. The ELF blending & crease brushes, Tone Correcting Concealer in Honey, & a ELF Lipstick in Fantasy.

The concealer is very creamy. It's a little orange, but still works fine for me.

The ELF Lipstick is actually pretty nice.

I heard some not so good things about them on YT, but overall so far so good.

I bought some new tools from the Studio Line. 2 ELF Professional Powder Brushes[best brushes EVER!] &a ELF Cream Eyeliner in Black. I also got a new product, the Makeup Lock & Seal, so excited to try this out! The lock & seal is supposed to increase the intensity of your makeup & keep your makeup in place for hours. Can`t wait to test it!

I got the ELF Studio Concealer in Tan[it arrived broken, but I`m not bothering to contact ELF after my last order issue :/], ELF Studio Blushes in Giddy Gold & Gotta Glow, & ELF Pressed Powder in Coco.

Giddy Gold is gorgeousss! The concealer is pretty creamy, I like it so far.

The pressed powder is a tan too dark. Boo! Lol.

More Glossy Glosses! :D This time I got Sweet Salmon, Dragonfruit, & Berry Blush.

I also picked up a Matte Lip Color in Natural. I love every single one of these!

I was VERY happy with this order. I got everything I ordered, no issues aside from the broken concealer. I think I`m obsessed with the Glossy Glosses, I know own all of them except one I`m STILL waiting on. :/ If you guys want any reviews, let me know in the comments!
