My Favorite Lipsticks for Autumn/Winter;

Today I decided to share my top 10 favorite lipsticks

that I`ll be wearing this Autumn & Winter.

I`ll mainly be using plums & reds, but a few bright & nude shades also to switch it up.

I picked out all affordable brands since I haven`t found a MAC lipstick I`m in love with yet for this season.

My Target Beauty Bag;

Last month Target was offering a free beauty bag on their website. There were TONS of people getting errors when they tried to request it, including myself. I figured it would never arrive, but I got a surprise in the mail last week. Mines was open[BOO Target!], but luckily my bag was still inside.

The bag is VERY cute!

I got some lotion samples, a coupon book, shampoo & conditioner samples, & a sample of Ponds Wet Cleansing Towelettes;

I was expecting at least one full sized product. But hey, it was free, so I can`t really complain.

Today I have another Sleek Makeup haul for you guys.

I ordered with another beauty blogger since I wanted to try some lipsticks.

I picked up 2 of the True Color Lipsticks & 2 of the new Glossed lip glosses.

Initial Thoughts;

OMG. These lipsticks & glosses are ALOT smaller than I expected. I thought the lipsticks would be closer to a MAC size, but they are definitely not. The glosses are very opaque. I`m happy that I purchased them. I did expect Mystic to be a bit darker &purple, but it`s more of a pink-y shade. I`m happy with my purchase & definitely will be buying more Sleek in the future.

Have you guys tried any of these Sleek products?

NYX Hautelook Haul;

Hey ladies.

Today I just wanted to share my NYX Hautelook haul.

I`m sure you guys are all familiar with Hautelook, so I`ll just show you what I bought.

I purchased the Eyeshadow Base Set. It cost about 15$.

It included the NYX HD Eyeshadow Base, 2 Eyeshadow Bases in Skintone & Pearl, & the B31 Shadow/Smokie - Small Brush.

I think this brush will be GREAT for defining the outer V.

Can`t wait to use it.

I was SUPER excited to try out the HD base, however, I will NOT be using this again. Ever. I tried it once & since I have oily lids...this is a deadly combo. I`ll probably give it away. Can`t wait to try out the other bases & the brush. NYX had a TON of products I wanted to buy[like the new slide on pencils], but I bought some shoes instead. :]

Possible MAC Dupe; [Potent Fig Mattene]

Hey ladies!

So, I was browsing my lipsticks I have in my collections & realized that these two colors looked VERY similar. I figured I`d swatch them side by side for a better look. If you have not picked up MAC`s Potent Fig from the Posh Paradise Collection, they I think I have found a great drugstore dupe for you to try instead!

MAC`s Mattene Lipstick in Potent Fig

They are exactly the same. Only difference I could find is that when they are swatched or applied the mattene is just a tiny bit less matte. I totally forgot I had this Wet `n Wild lipstick, but if I would have remembered, I probably would have passed on Potent Fig due to them being so similar.

So what do you guys think, are they dupes for each other?

Review: Avon Moisture Effective Eye Makeup Remover Lotion

Hi ladies.

Today I decided to review the Avon Moisture Effective Eye Makeup Remover Lotion. This product is a new staple of mines. Prior to this remover I would either use baby wipes to remove my makeup or Victoria Secret`s makeup remover. The VS remover was oily, but did it`s job. I saw that this was on sale for $.99 & I heard a few raves about this on Youtube, so I decided to purchase it & try it out. It only takes a little drop per eye to get the job done.

Below is the product.

You get 2 fl oz which will last you a while!

Here is the remover lotion & some black eyeliner.

After rubbing the lotion on & wiping off with a damp cloth.

Pros;

Affordable.

Moisturizing.

Great for sensitive eyes.

Scentless.

Removes makeup VERY easily.

Cons;

I honestly can`t think of any!

I use this product on my eyes daily & have had no troubles. You just dab a little on, rub your makeup, &then wipe away with a damp cloth or a cotton ball. It works AMAZINGLY to remove the darkest eyeliner & waterproof mascara. Also, I wear contacts & it does not bother them at all when I use this.

I`m def purchasing a few more.

Perfect Red Lipstick;

Happy Sunday ladies!

Firstly, I have picked a winner for my giveaway & they have been contacted.

Once they e-mail me back, I will let you guys know who won.

So, onto today`s post.

I have NEVER been able to find the perfect red lipstick. I`ve tried about 4-5 different brands & shades & it just does not work. I was browsing the clearance area @ Rite-Aid & saw Revlon`s In The Red Matte Lipstick & decided to try it. OMG you guys, it`s the PERFECT red lipstick for me. I literally wore this for a week straight.

I used this in my Good Girl FOTD post. If you ladies are looking for some great quality &affordable lipsticks, I definitely recommend checking out Revlon. I normally purchase mines from Walmart for about $4.50 each, but I recently found some of these at Big Lots for 1$! I will be doing a collection post with swatches soon of all of my Revlon lippies.

MAC Haul;*[Posh Paradise & Fall Colour]

Hey ladies!

Recently I went to the MAC counter, twice in two days. That never happens for me. I originally went for two lipsticks from the Fall Colour Collection, however I had to go back after one of the MUAs recommended Groundwork Paint Pot & I figured I`d get another lipstick while I was at it. So here`s what I picked up.

I like the new paper bags instead of plastic.

From the Fall Colour Collection, I picked up Plum Bright[Lustre] & Violetta[Amplified].

From Posh Paradise, I picked up a mattene lipstick in Potent Fig.

I can`t wait to use my new goodies. If you can`t tell by now, I love purple lipstick. I also will be going back for Rebel lipstick! I wish I could have gotten Half-Wild Paint Pot, I may go back & pick up one.
