Beautiful Textures Haul + Initial Thoughts;

Hey guys!

Today I have a much awaited hair haul.

I purchased some products from the Beautiful Textures line at my local Sallys.

I first heard about this brand in November or December & have been waiting to try them.

When I found out they were at Sallys I had to RUSH down & pick up some items!

There are 7 items in the collection & I picked up 4.

I purchased the Curl Control Defining Pudding, Tangle Taming Leave-in Conditioner, Rapid Repair Deep Conditioner, & the Moisture Butter.

My Initial Thoughts;

I have tried everything out this week & so far I like all of the products. My hair is still SUPER moisturized & the last time I applied any of these products was on Tuesday. I will say one thing I don`t like is the smell of the Curl Control & Moisture Butter. They have a very strong mango scent, which I`m not too fond of. The Leave-in & Deep Conditioner's smell isn`t as strong & a lot more bearable. I do plan to use these products a few more times to give a better overall review.

How I Used the Products;

I deep conditioned with the Rapid Repair Deep Conditioner for about 30 minutes. Shampooed with my favorite shampoo. Conditioned. Then I let my hair air dry for about 15 minutes. I then applied the Tangle Taming Leave-in Conditioner & Curl Control Defining Pudding. My curls were defined, but I still had a few that weren`t & my hair was still somewhat frizzy. A few days later I used the Moisture Butter for some two strand twists. From Tuesday until today I have yet to use anymore product & as I stated above, my hair is very moisturized & soft.

In the below picture I have in just the Tangle Taming Leave-in Conditioner & Curl Control Defining Pudding. You can see a little bit of the frizz on the left side.

I do plan to pick up the Curly to Straight & possibly the Shine & Silken.

Have you ladies tried anything from this line or would you like to?

NOTW; Co-Bolt

Hello guys!

Today I decided to share my NOTW.

I used a new nail polish I purchased from Walgreens.

It is the Sally Hansen Insta Dri Fast Dry Nail Color in Co-Bolt Blue.

This shade was on clearance & looked sort of like a blue purple in store.

However swatched it definitely is a true blue.

FOTD; Cross-Cultural Peach*

I`m back from my vacation & having been slacking a little bit. [BOO!]

Today I have a FOTD for you all.

I used two eyeshadows I had long forgotten about for today`s eye look.

Sephora`s liquid liner in Black.

Lips;

Baby Lips in Quenched.

NYX`s Megashine Gloss in Miami Babe.

Face;

Sephora shadow in Peach to highlight lightly.

NYX`s powder blush in Pinky.

Curls;

Back to curly. :]

Did a wash `n go using some new products that I`ll be reviewing later.

NOTW; On A Trip...to LA*

Hi guys!

This week`s mani has actually lasted me a good while.

These new Wet `n Wild polishes are lasting me at least 4 days before chipping!

I am definitely going to need to pick up some more very soon!

For this week`s mani I wanted to use 2 of my newest polishes.

I am using Wet `n Wild`s On A Trip & Soulstice Nail Colour in LA.

Here are my nails with just On A Trip.

&With LA on top of On A Trip.

As noted above, the WnW nail polishes are actually lasting me a lot longer than the others they have. I am not quite sure if they updated the formula or not, but so far I like it!

MAC Haul; Shop MAC/Cook MAC

Hi ladies!

I know I`ve been slacking on blog posts lately.

Sorry. I`ve been SUPER busy with work & planning a trip to FL for this weekend.

I did want to share my Shop MAC/Cook MAC haul before I left.

I do plan on purchasing Watch Me Simmer, if I like how it swatches in store.

The packaging is soooo cute!

I picked up Quick Sizzle.

This is a bright pink matte lipstick. &I am in loooove with it!

Swatched on my lips;

I also picked up Dish It Up.

It`s a bit darker than the picture.

The finish is a lustre.

Dish It Up on my lips.

Looks more true to color here.

Here I have the duo mixed on my lips.

I am definitely debating purchasing back ups of these two.

I love how both of these look on me.

I hope to pick up Watch Me Simmer.

I thought it would look like Vegas Volt[which I cannot pull off], but very different.
